Finished!

I have finally completed the first draft! When I finished, I ran through a bunch of emotions. At first, I felt a sense of accomplishment, but moments later, came worry. After I saved the file several times, I celebrated the last chapter by making another cup of coffee. We have one of those fancy machines that grinds and brews individual cups, so I didn’t have to wait long. As I sipped my black coffee, I planned a dinner out at a seafood place in nearby Fort Collins.

Now that I am done, what should I do with my messy draft? I sat back and realized that a lot more work lay ahead. I decided that I’ll need to find an editor and scale down my blog posts to once or twice a month. As I will devoting more time to editing, I’ll have less new things to post. However, I will resume posts as I get closer to releasing my first book.
