Book Available

Since my last post, I finished my first book, which is now available for purchase on Amazon and through IngramSpark. I found the last steps of self-publishing hectic and time consuming. After the first round of edits, my editor and I went through a second round of full edits. Once I made those changes, the draft was sent to a proof reader. A couple of weeks later the work was returned and revised once more.

Meanwhile, I approved my graphic designer’s rear cover concept. Once the draft was formatted and I chose a custom font for the print copy of the book. My editor had the book formatted for Kindle and for paperback publishing. When all was ready, I purchased ten ISBN numbers and signed up to publish on Amazon Kindle and on IngramSpark.

As this process was going on, I started work on a fantasy novel and outlined Book 2 of the Message to Arecibo series and started marketing the book to a wider audience. At this time, I want to take time to thank all of my friends, family and blog readers who have generously supported me.
