Hi, my name is John and I’m glad you’re here. I started writing because I want to provide the reader with new, diverse characters and ideas that differ from many of the mainstream stereotypes. As a new writer, I hope you will follow my journey to completing and publishing my first novel. 

That’s what you’ll find here in the blog. 

The process. 

But first a little about the author. My general qualifications included a BA in Economics and Ancient History from Franklin and Marshall College, a MA from Boston University in Strategic Studies, completed coursework for a PhD in Political Science from University of Pennsylvania and a JD from Benjamin Cardozo School of Law. 

I worked for the US government briefly. Then I taught college and high school courses while I ran my own real estate management business. I served the local community as a firefighter and was elected to public office in New Jersey for over ten years. 

I have lived in many different countries and travelled extensively. My hobbies include cooking different types of cuisines and riding motorcycIes (both crotch rockets and hogs). I am also a car enthusiast, three-gun shooter, martial artist, and gamer. In my writing, I draw upon my diverse interests and background and infuse my stories with a unique perspective.
